All events are subject to change/cancellation in unforseen circumstances.
Changes will be advised as soon as possible. Please advise Gillian Burchell if you wish to attend any evening event so we
know if it is viable to run it.

This is just a reminder that the Marldon Bowling Club Christmas party is on Thursday 12th December at the
Babbacombe Inn, Torquay.
If you you wish to come along but haven’t yet signed up for it, I would urge you to book now before space runs out.
You need to book online through the Babbacombe Inn website and pay in full at the time of booking. Please add MBC to
the end of your name so they can arrange seating together for us.
If you need any help with making your booking, please ask Trish or myself.
We are also organising taxis from Marldon that evening so please let one of us know if you wish to be included in the transport.

Friday 1st November 7:00pm – Optional Fancy Dress! We will have a Jacob’s Table so bring a plate of food to feed 4-6 people. Please let Gillian know if you are coming and what you will be bringing to allow a variety of food. Otherwise, the cost will be £5 a head. PLUS there’s a prize for the best Fancy Dress outfit!!

The club and green maintenance sessions continue every Tuesday, 9am-12am (even in Winter!)
-- Working party at Club - there's always something to be done and more help would be appreciated.

A number of indoor friendlies at the Derwent Hotel have been arranged. Please support them if you can They are on Rink Diary.
The Short Mat Bowls Season started on Wednesday October 2nd 2024 at the Village Hall and
continues until March 2025. These are friendly games open to all members,
The Shortmat league in the club starts on
Monday October 7th for selected players.
