All events are subject to change/cancellation in unforseen circumstances.
Changes will be advised as soon as possible. Please advise Gillian Burchell if you wish to attend any evening event so we
know if it is viable to run it.

MARLDON MIXED FOURS OPEN BOWLS TOURNAMENT - SUNDAY 11th AUGUST 2024
Marldon Bowls Club will again be holding our annual tournament on the above date with first game starting at 9.30 am.
We hope that you will be able to enter. The teams will be made up of two ladies and two men. Each team will play three
games on a round robin basis. The Tournament consists of 24 teams. Rules will be shown on the Programme given to
each Team Leader on arrival.
PRIZES
FIRST PRIZE - £200 SECOND PRIZE - £120 THIRD PRIZE - £72
Entry fee will again be £54 per team (this will include lunch and dessert)
We may still have a couple of spaces left so if you are interested or have any questions about the Tournament, then please
email Anne Clarke ([email protected]) for an entry form or further details, a.s.a.p. to avoid
disappointment.
The club and green maintenance sessions continue every Tuesday, 9am-12am (even in Winter!)
-- Working party at Club - there's always something to be done and more help would be appreciated.
Call Paul or Les to confirm you will be attending. (there might be pasties and coffee available)
Starting at 9:30am this popular tournament takes place today with Cash Prizes for the top three teams and a good lunch halfway through the day for all teams.
