July 23rd TCBC v Marldon
Craig, Shaun and Terry dropped a 5 on first end and slowly fell further behind as TCBC skip took out Marldon woods on a
number of ends. From 8- 25 down, Marldon did recover to 17-25 but two 3's on last 2 ends left Marldon losing 17-31.
Gordon S, Bob and Peter C got off to a quick start and were 9-0 up after 4 ends but TCBC started a recovery that narrowed Marldon's
lead to just 2 shots by the 8th end. TCBC scored a 5 on the 11th end to take the lead by three shots but Marldon then won
7 of the 8 remaining ends to win the game 20-15.

June 25th - Marldon v Victoria
Shaun, Les H and Len W fell behind early on but steadily worked their way back to be 14 all at the 16th end. Unfortunately
Victoria snatched the last two ends and Marldon lost 14 - 18
Gordon S, Alan R and Bob were level at 3-3 after 3 ends but then won 7 ends in a
row for a 16-3 lead. Victoria scored on first two ends after the tea interval before Marldon scored again and Marldon went
on to win 22 - 9.

June 18th - Babbacombe v Marldon
Shaun, Les H and Terry were in a close game but behind until 16th end when they levelled the scores at 13 all. 1 more shot
each left the game tied at 14 all.
Les, Brian and Bob scored one on first end but then dropped 8 shots on next two ends to be 1-8 down.
They managed to close the gap to 9-12 but that was as close as they got as Babbacombe won next 4 ends and
Marldon lost by 8 shots, 11-19.

June 13th - Marldon v TCBC (rearranged from May 21st)
Bryan, Steve and Terry at 10 ends
were 9 -6 up but a further six shots on the next 2 ends increased their lead to 15-6. The opposition scored on 4 of the
remaining 6 ends but Marldon held on for a 17-13 win.
Les C, Shaun and Len were in a close game for 5 ends but the opposition proved to be stronger,
scoring heavily on next 4 ends to go 16-4 in front. Opponents continued to score heavily for the rest of the game and
Marldon lost 7-29.

Gordon S, Bob and Bryan won 7 of the first 10 ends for a 14-4 lead and
although Kings managed another 7 shots before the end, Marldon increased their score by 4 more to win 18-11.
Les C Len and Ray O' raced into a 13-0 lead at 7 ends but opponents then won 5 ends in a row to reduce gap to 13-8.
A few ends later the gap had narrowed to just 2 shots, 15-13, but a good finish from Marldon saw them win 20-13

May 14th 2025 - Paignton v Marldon
Shaun, Bob and Craig found themselves in a closely
fought game from the start but pulled away from 5 all at 5 ends only to be caught up again by 12th end where scores were
once again level at 10 all.
Two ends later the score was 11 all but it went pear shaped for Marldon on 15th end when Paignton scored their only 3 of
the game to take a 3 shot lead and added another shot on end 16. Marldon reduced the deficit to three shots on end 17 but lost
the last end by 2 to go down 12-17.
Gordon S, Les H and Bryan dropped a 6 on the second end and an 8 on the 4th end to find themselves 3-14 behind
after only 4 ends and could only score 4 more singles as Paignton dominated the game to win 38-7

May 7th 2025 - Torquay v Marldon
The sun was shining and Torquay's green was playable,
as Marldon took on Torquay away. John Gibbons, Gordon Stevens and Terry Grant were in front for 7 ends but once Torquay caught up they
continued to draw away and despite a rally at the end, Marldon lost 12-16.
Les Clarke, Les Hartnell and Craig were 11 up before opposition scored and continued to score well for a good 29-11 win

July 23rd Marldon v Paignton Torbay
John M, Howard and Gordon P took and early lead but were pegged back to 12 all at 11 ends and then dropped a 3 to go
three shots behind. Marldon recovered by winning next three ends, scoring a 1, 2, and a 7 for a 22-15 lead, recording a
final score of 23-17.
John Gilbert, Dave T and Dave M were 5-1 up at 4 ends and 5 -10 down by the 10th end but scored well on 6 of the last
8 ends to win 22-15.

June 25th - Marldon v Brixham St Mary
John M, Dave T and Gordon P started with a 4 and a second 4 two ends later gave then an 8 -2 lead. Continuing to score
well, Marldon were 17- 5 up at 14 ends. Brixham St Mary won 4 of the last 5 ends but couldn't catch up and
Marldon won 18-13.
Tony Walker, Tim Johnson and Ray Wyborn had a close game throughout and were
13 all at 17th end. Brixham scored a one on 18th end to claim the two points 14-13.
